Our Services

Older people and those with disability can live in their own homes independently. Our services are structured to deliver personal and respite care. We put emphasis on a private, safe and careful service by our team.

To get you started we offer the following services

Free assistance to determine your eligibility for services, if you receive Medicaid

Free preliminary meeting and case assessment 

Free development of individualized care plan 

Free introductory meeting with your caregiver to assure compatibility

Free home safety assessment

Companionship/sitter services

These services include non-medical care, companionship, conversation, reading, medication reminding, socialization and supervision.  Ligth housekeeping duties, which are incidental to the well being and supervision of the client, may also be performed.

The goal of companionship/sitter services is to assist individual to live in the comfort of their homes for as long as possible and to assure the safety, health and general well being of the individual by providing companionship, friendship and supervision, and by promoting social interaction.

Companion/sitter do not include any personal/hands-on care.

Homemaking Services

Homemaking services offer practical assistance with routine household tasks and related activities to enable a client to remain in a safe, clean and healthy home environment.  Homemaking services include:

  • General household cleaning
  • planning and preparing meals
  • Shopping for groceries and other items
  • Running errands
  • Laundry, ironing, changing bedding
  • Assistance with management of finances
  • Assistance with bills and mail

Homemaking services do not include any personal/hands-on care.

Personal Care Attendant Services

Personal Care sercices offer assistance to clients who have experienced a loss in their ability to perform the Activities of Daily Living, also called ADL's.  Such assistance may enable them to remain in a safe, clean and healthy environment.  A personal care attendant can provide assistance with:

  • Personal Hygiene - Bathing, Dressing and Grooming
  • Transferring and positioning
  • Incontinence, bladder and bowel care
  • Medication Reminders
  • Range of motion exercices
  • Walking, mobility assistance
  • Meal Planning and Preparation
  • Diet Monitoring
  • Home Safety Supervision
  • Housekeeping and Laundry
  • Errands and shopping
  • Assistance with arrangement of appointments
  • Managing finances
  • Assistance wtih mail and correspondence
  • Entertainment
  • Cheerful companionship
  • Respite for family Caregivers
  • Observation and monitoring of behavior
  • And much more....

Personal Care Attendant services do include personal/hands-on care.

Respite Services

Respite provides temporary relief to primary caregivers (a spouse, son, daughter, friend or relative). Respite is any combination of services provided specifically for the purpose of giving relief for a few hours or a few days to the family or caregivers of a dependent person, who lives at home. Respite care can:

  • relieve primary caregivers from the constant responsibility of providing care
  • give primary caregivers the security of knowing that temporary relief is available
  • support and strenghten families and other support systems in order to enable dependent persons to remain at home as long as possible

Respite Care may or may not include personal/hands-on care.

Together we can create an individualized care plan to meet your needs.
